At your next party, would you make a new pizza every time a guest arrived? No! You'd slice the same pizza into many pieces, right? Well, the same is true when you serve up the "Infinite Pizza of Artists' Reproduction Rights." You will have fun at this lively and educational workshop and profit by learning the essentials of running a succcesful art business.
You menu will include:
• legal transfer of repro rights
• specific contract terms
• how to talk to clients about copyright
• how to register copyright and maintain authorship
• what is "work for hire"
• special topping: Is design Copyrightable?

at the Three Arts Club, 1300 North Dearborn (at Geothe) in Chicago
Graphic Artists Guild Members: $10, Nonmembers: $15
Your waiter will be Michael Hays assisted by "well-seasoned" Guild members.
After the workshop, we'll meet for pizza, of course!
