Margaret Cusack, illustrator:
The Art of the Commission

She creates “realism in stitchery and fabric.” An illustrator/artist for over thirty-six years, Margaret Cusack’s art has warmed up the images of countless clients from AT&T to Aunt Millie’s Spaghetti Sauce. They have used her work on book covers, newspapers, decorative plates and even postage stamps. Cusack has lectured at numerous venues including The Society of Illustrators, Manhattan’s Art Directors Club, Pratt Institute and Syracuse University.
The success of her unconventional artwork and her promotional techniques have inspired audiences everywhere.

Want to make money with your artwork? Margaret Cusack will show you how to work like a business person and succeed as an artist. Cusack gives advice on how to create a professional presentation, set goals for your career, create supportive networks, promote your work and succeed as a professional artist. Her presentation features sketches, step-by-step photos, and preliminary images from many examples of her popular stitched artwork.
