Pat Byrnes has been
a rocket scientist,
an advertising copywriter,
a voice actor,
a comedian,
a playwright,
and a bunch of other interesting things.
It was all preparation to follow his life's calling to be a cartoonist.
His cartoons now run regularly in The New Yorker and Reader's Digest, and his advertising illustrations earned him the National Cartoonist Society's coveted Reuben award in 2002. He also has a nationally syndicated comic strip called "Monkeyhouse," and the first anthology of these strips has just been published and is available on bookshelves — in Portugal.
